I try to combine informative and intersting videos with a bit of humour, nothing too serious!! hope you enjoy them and the added benifit is that the money i generate goes to charities that i support includ a hedgehog hospital, wildlife rescue centre etc.

Welcome to this series of short films by Fred on the historical churches in and around Hereford and mid Wales. These old churches are an intrinsic part of the Welsh and English countryside and many are now approaching 1000 years of age. Enjoy the film as Fred weaves wit and humour with historical fact. How I put together my DIY car ramps. Please always take precautions when working beneath your car. Pull the hand brake on firmly, chock the wheels and put the car into gear.

Setting up a swift call system from Peak Boxes
I love my old 40+ here in Colorado of the US... very few guys around here seem to know what it is! Lol
See is an old video but hopefully you realised you needed a drop of oil on the end of that clutch rod where it engages against the flange that spins against it. Once a couple of drops works in its incredible how it suddenly let's you draw backwards with ease....
Great find ! ❤ 😮
Well done Fred - Great post
What a little beauty
Your oill 10ml to 1 liter if it's 10. 2. 1 if it's 25 to 1 that's 25ml to one liter don't put in a 100ml to one liter I don't no if you ment 100ml or 10 ml but nice engine m8 I got one thay go for a long time
Are the wheel teeth involute profile? I am making a clock like this as I live in a cottage from about 1650, and I have made cutters for simple cycloidal form teeth. I made a 30 day regulator clock and converted the Imperial plans and cycloidal wheels to metric involute. It is amazingly accurate. I went to Salisbury Cathedral to see the clock there and they started it going for me.
Useless cameraman
Why do you have to be so rude?
@Dieseljonnyboy hahaha wasn't expecting a reply. I bought one of these yesterday and the pin was jammed, I couldn't see what way you were pulling the pin to insert the chisels. Anyway 2 hrs later I got it free with elbow grease. Your camera angle could have been better. Thanks for the video.
I used to drive these in the late 60s and early 70s when I worked at the Mellanear Works in Bootle.😂
Used to drive one of these back in the 70s in a brickworks transporting bricks to a kiln happy memories
Hey Jonnyboy, what do you think of the Bernard 40-GRO-1015? iTS A 2.5 KVA monophase 127volts 50hz.Dont know if you know this Generator, but ive found one for 90euros.Its in good condition.Do you think its a good Genni, worth the price? Nice looking machine youve got there, great sound. Thanks for showing this old beauty
Send us sperparts for these engine Zambia

They aren't much noisier than a modern 4 stroke, and are a good bit lighter. I've got three.

Hi I have a lister petter LV1 and would like to learn how to overhaul it but I see you do not have any contact information, I would have loved to pick your brain on it...
Fantastic!
Very nice!
I bought one last march . Love it . Its a £7000 bike and people find silly little faults with it . But no mention of the good stuff like ally rims phantoms brembos twin cam with buckets . 4valve head and twin spark a slipper clutch .... well worth the money and if you change the exhaust what a beautiful sound it makes . 😎👍
It is not a BSA. It is not a Gold Star. If you want a 650cc motorcycle, buy a Suzuki DR.
I can get a larger trailer-mounted one for 350£. Have access to near endless supply of used vegoil. I could make biodiesel from it, but would be nice to be able to use it after removing water and filtering it by placing heaters on the tank, fuel line, filters etc. Do you think this can be done? Or this one doesn't have a pre-burn chamber?
Hi, I believe the older diesels should run on it when treated, but I have no experience. Good luck!
We would like to see a 750 BSA two cillinders.
Hi all, I have one of these in my garage I found it in my aunts garden, I tried to get it running but didn’t know anything about engines at the time, but taking it apart with my dad is what got me hooked on working with engines and would love to take my now knowing experience and finally get it going, although I struggle to find parts for it, do you mind if I ask you guys where I can get spare parts for these? Any contacts would be hugely appreciated, I know one of the piston rings were broken and it was missing a crank handle other than that everything else seemed to be in good condition, if anyone could help as I would love to have it up and running
Stationary engine spares keep some bits and prices. Sleeman and Hawken stock everything but would probably be expensive. Maybe buy a donor engine. There are plenty of them, they were in production for nearly 30 years. It was the classic concrete mixer engine. Good luck.
@@Dieseljonnyboy thank you very much, I’ll have a look into them and see what I can do, I’m not entirely sure what I’ll run off it yet, initially I was hoping to reverse wire a motor and fabricate a bracket to accommodate a gear drive to make a generator out of it, but first thing is to get it running, really appreciate your help, thank you
You have placed the correct wheel stop. Now the car won't roll away. I like and subscribe to your UA-cam channel. Good luck.
Thanks I appreciate it!!
Nice work. We shared this video on our homemade tool forum this week 😎
Thanks!!
Nicely done! But DON´T remove the nestbowl inside the box if you have swifts nesting. It can take them years to build a new bowl in the box. But other birds like house sparrows can fill up the entire box with moss and straw and other stuff, and then the Swifts cant get in and use the box. I personaly block the entrance until they arrive i May.
Great vid Johnny very informative and helpful. Been watching you with boat bloke great to see them being used. Very enthusiastic on the Bridgewater canal. I have a few of these motors i love them will have to restore some. Thanks Ruth ❤😁
Cheers!
Nice bike. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Scrambler is like. Nick J
the exhaust side is the offside lol, tidy looking bike though none the less, the usb lead is actually for an optimate style battery charger
Bought one back in March and found the rear suspension a bit too budget. Bought some upgraded rear shocks from TEC big improvement. Overall happy with purchase the bike really loosens up after the first service.
the rear shocks fitted are non-standard.......
X factor or Britain’s got talent for you boyo xx
Lol aidy, more like a padded cell!!
I was disappointed theat they didn't release the colour option they had at the shows with the union jack tank and bulldog side panels
I agree it is a better bike than the Interceptor.
A gorgeeous video of a gorge! What shame the devil's cauldren was closed! That's his game though, always promising things he can't deliver!
It’s such a cat thing not to listen. 😂 I bet as soon as the camera is off*rolls*
Yep! You’re right. Cheers
Loos like a great place to visit. Not sure describing a lady as like a mountain goat is going to get them on side though...
Lol- she’s used to me!!!
These are great lanterns with a lot of people n Uk collecting them now so prices are going up. Grab one at a car boot while you still can. They’re relatively easy to maintain and all the spare parts ( if needed) are available from Tilley lamps and stoves or base camp in Peterborough Uk also can be got on line. Enjoy your lamps.
I have just ordered one a Legacy edition, it will go nicely alongside my Classic 500 Tribute black.
Yes it will go very nicely alongside a Classic Black... two awesome good choices...!!
Not in the market to buy a motorbike but interesting review.
Nice 🙂
Thanks, hope the swifts appreciate it
Good tip, if a little bulky. However if you are taking a car, you might as well use the space.
Thanks Ben, are you. Camper?
@@Dieseljonnyboy I have done a little when I s younger but my wife i very against it.

@@Dieseljonnyboy Not even with a comphy bed!
Ideally you need to use a mercury vapour bulb and not an LED. LED will attract some moths but its been proven to be far less effective than MV bulbs
Oh bugger!I want to know how it works!! Particularly the brazing bit, doesn't anybody know?
Did you have any prob getting the head studs out ?? Thanks Carl
Hi, no with heat from a blow torch they came out okay. I’ve repeated the process on all 5 of my seagulls.
Good work. If you get Zinc hot (well below welding temperatures, around 400-500C) it will boil and oxidise giving off white zinc oxide fumes which are poisonous though not as deadly as deadly as cadmium oxide fumes. You can always use a flappy disc or angle grind the zinc off. Makes for a better weld too! ell done!
Thanks Ben, good advice. I’ll prep it better next time.
Thanks Joseph, they are nice old engines. I expect there are some on Maltese fishing boats! Roller bearing on mains and bing ends on the ‘G’ series. Hope you are well.
Thats lovley.
